I have been locked out of my yahoo account I get the following error message: The connection to the server "apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com" on prt 993 timed out. I can still access my email by safari but can't get my iPad to collect. Help!

Please can someone help!

I got my iPad last Christmas and successfully linked my yahoo mail account. Yesterday for some unknown reason I got an error message saying my username or password for yahoo account had not been recognised.

After several attempts I tried resetting my iPad. I also tried deleting my yahoo account from my ipad and starting again but this didnt work and my ipad seems to remember my old password - i can tell as the number of dots are fewer that my current password! I have also accessed my mail via safari and reset my yahoo password then tried again to link it to my iPad but no success, I just get the following
