CD Rom drive keep ejecting any cd you put in

I have problems with my CD/DVD drive. Any cd i place in ejects after 5 to 10 seconds. Any idea what might be the probleam and any solutions.

Optical drive may need to be cleaned with a drive cleaning kit.

If none of Dominic23's suggestions help, you might try a different brand of CD/DVD. That sometimes does make a difference.
