I have a iMac with version 10.5.8 and would like to upgrade my version. Can I do that and how so I do that?

If you have an Intel Mac, purchase Mac OS X 10.6 on DVD(or get it for free if you're a paid MobileMe member.)
If you have a PowerPC Mac, you can't.
