Jun 28, 2012 1:09 PM in response to Dupre83by Kappy,Yes. Do you have a local network, and is it wireless? If so, then you can have each computer connected to your network be accessible using File Sharing which is enabled in the Sharing preferences.

Jun 28, 2012 1:27 PM in response to Dupre83by Dupre83,I have the Mac mini with Lion Server and I need to connect to it to download software and we didnt get the thunderbolt cord we ordered yet so i was hoping there was another way to connect to the mini as we are jsut going to use it as a server most of the time. I use an Imac.

Jun 28, 2012 1:28 PM in response to Dupre83by Kappy,Then your Mini will connect wirelessly to your modem/router just like your iMac and other computers in the building. It does not have to connect to your iMac for an Internet connection.

Jun 28, 2012 1:38 PM in response to Dupre83by Kappy,Oh. Well I think you need a display in order to be sure Network preferences are properly configured. If you have an iMac that supports Target Display Mode, then you could use it for the display.
