OKIDATA C5150n finally a Lion driver!

Thanks for posting this. A few months ago I upgraded a client to Lion and was frustrated to find that there was no driver. Today I ran out of toner on my Brother and ink on my Epson. Had a C5150 that someone got rid of laying around. Plugged it up to the network, downloaded and ran the driver you linked, went to System Preferences -> Print & Scan hit the + sign and added the printer. Worked great!

I did not have the same luck. Mine's USB, and the 'hiper-c' option that's noted in the 'read me' was not an option under System Preferenced > Print & Scan. Argh. HELP!

Here's the error message from the test print (and other print attempts):

/Library/Printers/OKIDATA/Filters/OKIHC002.plugin/Contents/MacOS/OKIHC002 failed

Again, after I run the installer, I don't see where I handle this:

Note for USB connection : Select OKI(USB Hiper-C) from USB connection list.

ninamalone - did anyone find a solution for this? I too cannot find the "Select OKI(USB Hiper-C)" anywhere

Sadly, no further info. So there my OKI sits, hooked to my old Dell which now is a conduit to printing in color. But porting a USB back 'n' forth to print is so primitive .... HELP, PEEPS! Any further instruction since Hiper-C is nowhere to be found for me and jadea3?

Actually after I sent that, the option miraculously appeared in the "Add Printer" dialog when I added a new printer. It errored out on the first print, but has been fine since then.

Still no luck here! Did you uninstall everything and try again? Any tips would be appreciated. *sigh*

No I didn't reinstall or uninstall. Just went to Print & Scan preferences and clicked the plus sign, and the "Hiper-C" option popped up after a few seconds.
