I have a MacBook Pro and am moving to ICloud. All my photos are in IPhoto and my contacts on this computer. Do I have to save photos, contacts, etc. to an additional location before I move to ICloud???

iPhoto will be unaffected by your move to iCloud. However when you move to iCloud, any contacts that you have in your address book that are synced to MobileMe will be merged into your iCloud account, so you may wish to back them up before you make your move
