itunes doesn't recognize my ipod but does recognize my iphone.
I tried to restore but it now my ipod is blank and my itunes library won't sync with the ipod. The ipod is recognized in My Computer.

If the iPod was not being recognized by iTunes (as it says in the topic title), how you were you able to run a Restore on it? iTunes runs the Restore, and iTunes can't do that if it can't see the iPod.
