This is causing a big problem. i checked and one of my family members has the right settings, and minare different. Can someone tell me a WELLKNOWN and WORKING solution?

So what you are saying is that when you check the IP address your iPod is using the address is not correct.

You are also saying you can enter a static IP address and your iPod connects...


What you need to do is check your router and determine if it is configured as a DHCP server or not. If the router is not configured as a DHCP server, then you MUST give each of your devices a unique static IP address.


If the router is configured as a DHCP server, then you need to configure your iPod to use DHCP.
