Hi, everyone - I just had kind of a weird thing happen. The clips in my timeline turned to light blue and light green, as opposed to the medium green and medium blue seen before. I can't find a way to change the colors. Everything else is functioning properly. Any one have an idea what is going on?

This is a feature of roles... you can select which roles to highlight in the timeline index for organizational purposes. Command-Shift-2. Once in there just click in the gray area below the list of roles to return to the normal state in the timeline.
I don't know the cause but if you trash the preferences with http://www.digitalrebellion.com/prefman/ it should return all FCP X settings to their original default status.

Roles seem scary at first because they are so powerful! 😮 Put you gotta get in there and tame them! 😁
