It's capable of running in either Classic or in Tiger.

Just make sure to update Photoshop to version 7.0.1 and Illustrator to 10.0.3.

Just FYI, I have versions 7.0.1 through 11.0.2 ("CS4") of Photoshop on my G5 Quad machine and they all run flawlessly under Tiger 10.4.11 on my machine.

I can even run more than one version of Photoshop at the same time, just by launching the older version(s) first and assigning each one a different scratch disk volume as a preventive measure.

I run Photoshop CS5 and CS6 on a MacBook I literally rescued from the trash.

It may be too old: Users who bought Photoshop 7.0 for a Mac needed to run Mac OS 9.1, 9.2 or Mac OS X version 10.1.3.

I think you should ask Adobe to be sure.
