Flash is not supported on the iPad (and no plug-ins can be downloaded) - and as Adobe have announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of it, it probably never will be.

Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store.

If you do a search on this forum you will find hundreds of other threads on the subject.

Philly,

You would be surprised by what you don't think you're missing.

I have found websites I visit on my iPad many times offer half the content that the desktop or android version offers.

I have been to sites where they don't even show that a video is missing, you'd never know you're missing it, but then on android or the pc, you're like "wow, I didn't know they had a video blog"

This has happened to me several times.

And I see far less ads by having Flash installed and set to "on-demand" on my sons android than I do on IOS, because the android device pulls flash ads, which I block by being set to on-demand, instead of how on IOS it sees no flash player and pulls animated or static ads.
