How do you set the home page on google chrome for iOS?

I like the new Google Chrome browser but I don't seem to be able to figure out how to set the home page.

Is it designed to not use a home page? I want it to open to Google.com just like every other browser I use. The Recently Close page can be used kind of like Speed Dial but once it gets filled up I think it might get to be a pain trying to find what you are looking for.

Anyone had any luck doing this? Or is is just me being old fashioned about how I want my browser to behave?

Ok. So, assuming it's irrelevant have a homepage set (which personally I don't like) why desktop browser use to have it???

Like Safari and a number of other browsers, it doesn't have a home page feature.

I guess I will just have to get used to using the smart bar or whatever it is that Google calls the universal address bar and ignore what ever is on screen and consider that as my start page.

I guess it is a step forward but it feels odd to not have a start page of some kind.

If google.com is what you intend to use, a home page function is irrelevant. The browser already has a search field.
