I downloaded a tv program that I missed. I can only see 20 seconds of it despite the time saying over 43 minutes

Need help. Downloaded a tv program in entireity. Now can only watch/see about 20 seconds despite the counter saying 43 minutes. New to this. What am I doing wrong?

Are you watching the TV show in the Videos app? You don't watch TV shows in iTunes on the iPad. Use the videos app.
