Q: Wireless Keyboard with iPad

I am trying to synch my apple wireless keyboard to my iPad 3. I lost the install guide and I can't find how to do the install. I have tried to install using Settings, General, Bluetooth. I then turn on the keyboard and it displays the keyboard but then states that the keyboard is not paired. I cannot find anything on the
Apple website with instructions, other than a reference to use the install guide that came with the keyboard to pair with the ipad. BUT I LOST IT AND APPLE WEBSITE DOESNT HAVE IT ON LINE. I am really frustrated.

Incidentally, if your KB was paired with something else, it has to be deleted from that device. A BT keyboard may only be connected to one thing at a time.

Thanks, Barry - I had the same question -didn't know about removing previous pairing - problem solved.
