How can you restrict access to Facebook App without restricting all Apps on the Ipod?

Facebook uses an independent web browser that can't be filtered and can access explicit content. I currently use the K9 internet browser App and I am unable to filter Facebook's independent web browser. I wish to use the "restrictions" in the Ipod to filter the Facebook App but am unable to unless I want to completely restrict all Apps on my ipod due to the "4+" app rating. How do I filter a single App or make it so I can have explicit-free Apps?

Thank you.

Removing FB is easy, and can be done one of two ways: At your PC in iTunes, or at the iPod.

I prefer using iTunes because if you remove the app at the iPod, synching will bring it right back.

To get rid of FB, open iTunes, click on Apps, right click the FB icon, and select Delete. Click Yes, and you're done. When you sych the device FB will be gone...

That sounds good but I couldn't access my Apps through Itunes. I tried syncing my Ipod through Itunes and clicked the "Apps" page to display my ipod's apps to find them "greyed." I was unable to click on or do anything with them so I choose to Sync the Apps to Itunes and found Facebook as well as other Apps that did not come with the Ipod stock not appear. If I can get rid of Facebook off of the Ipod is there a way to make so I can no longer download it again from the App store? If so, this would be great.

Thank you.

The ability to download and install apps is linked to a unique Apple ID account. If YOU do not want to download a particular app, then don't do it.

However, if you want to keep another person from downloading apps, you can go to Restrictions and turn off "Installing Apps."

Also, since getting apps requires being logged in to a valid Apple ID account, you can log out by going to Settings > Store > tap your Apple ID, and then tap Sign Out.

Under this scheme, someone would have to know your restrictions pass code and your Apple ID credentials in order to download ANYTHING from the App Store to your device.

Here again the restriction is all or nothing.....
