what is error 11222? itunes

it says unknown error, but what does that mean? unknown to itunes? to the programmers? unknown to me because itunes wont tell me?

this makes no sense, this unknown business. generally googling gives an answer, so its not actually unknown. so why does it pretend ignorance?

in this case, googling hasnt turned up much except speculation.

itunes is just one big stream of errors for me, in every possible way, on every kind of machine (except iOS).

currently im on a mac unibody, a few years old, running lion much better than the brand new air i returned a few months ago...
