Quicktime audio streaming of iTunes radio within LAN

I want to stream a radio station received by iTunes or an Elgato EyeTV Hybrid digital receiver within our office LAN (8 iMac's).

Receiving the web radio URL with iTunes on every iMac separately works only up to 3 Mac's becuse of increasing interrupts of audio streaming probably because of network overload.

How to solve the problem ? I am looking for a solution to receive the radio content only once and then to stream it to the other Mac's in the LAN.

Would be the Quicktime Streaming Server suitable ?

Thanks in advance for any help

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4), 8GB RAM 27 Display
