I synced my contacts using i Tunes. Why don't they show as a list on my i Pad?

I have synced my windows contacts using i Tunes. They are in my i Pad but do not show as a list in "contacts". Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong??

How do you know all Windows Contacts are "in my iPad" if the contacts are not available in the Contacts app?

Unless you are also syncing contacts over the air with your iCloud account on your iPad, those 3 names were not added to your Contacts by sending an email with your Cloud account.

If you are syncing contacts over the air with your iCloud account and direct with Windows Contacts via the iTunes sync process, when selecting Groups for Contacts with the Contacts app you should have an All Contacts selection, an iCloud selection, and an On My iPad selection.
