Oct 5, 2015 11:58 AM in response to fox_mby Russ H,Unfortunately, I can't give a very useful answer because I was doing a lot of experimentation with a 10.11 partition I had just created and just replaced the Motion Template folder with one from the main system drive. (I had already changed the extensions on those sub folders.)

Feb 21, 2016 2:06 AM in response to mm2270by Vaz,Check this.
Ensure that within your Home directory /movies/Motion Templates - right click on Motion Templates and get info, check that this folder is name "Motion Templates.localized - notice the .localized extension which is not visible to finder

Mar 8, 2016 6:30 PM in response to Vazby Vaz,Also, keep in mind that not all plugins are stored in user/Movies/motions Templates but there are several other places plugins are also stored at like:
library/plug-ins (both user & system library)
library/application support/Fx Factory (if you have these type of plugins)
Some plugins (core melt or neatvideo) store alias at the library but store more further files within your application folder too

Apr 15, 2016 10:32 AM in response to fox_mby hioscarhi,This is the only thing that worked for me... All the other information is everywhere...
I really appreciate your help...
Really really tired of situations like this APPLE. I understand you can't be expected to solve every question every consumer has... This is why you need to design movie software that is more user friendly by having an easier effects integration process. (easier said than done... I know)
