I too have this problem, i've been trying for three days to resolve it. I restarted the app, deleted (now all my magazines are gone and I don't know how to get them back). After the week in politics we had, this is the worst time for Time for break. 😢
Same here in Somerville, really frustrated, can't seem to find anything else online regarding this error, mine is Newsweek and Entertainment weekly, have paid subscriptions but they will not update with new issues, same error as you. Any luck solving?
I just spoke to Entertainment weekly digital customer service, they said it's a "known issue" and they are working with Apple to resolve it. I should wait 24-48 hours and try again. I'm not verry optomistic. Meanwhile, I have a PAID subscription that I can not access...frustrating.
Same problem here in Holland. Glad to see I'm not the only one. Isee the number of people who 'like' the original post steadily increasing, so this probably is the tip of the iceberg. I emailed Time about the problem, but haven't heard from them. Who is at fault, Time or the app store? Meanwhile, issues of time are piling up and becoming 'old news'. Hope we have a final solution (or at least a proper reply from Time or Apple) soon...
Okay, the app is working again, just like that....It would be nice if we heared a ' Gee,...sorry guys, this was the problem but we worked it out. ' .....but that's for a parallel utopian universe I gues...;-)
I'm getting Time now but there still seems to be a problem with logging into Time through the app....at least I'm getting the magazines. Thanks for the fix!
I'm up and running again too in New Jersey with my Time year subscription. However, I still can't re-download single issues that I purchased before I bought my subscription :/
Jim, what username/login did you use? When I bought my subscription to Time through the app store I didn't get any information about logging in so I've been trying with my apple ID but just get errors. The developer FAQ is useless and contacting their customer service is even more useless (I've been waiting two weeks for a reply)

When you bought a subscription through iTunes you shouldn't have to login seperately using the sign in which asks you for your timesubscription data (this is only when you are a paper subscriber, in that case your iPadsubscription is complimentary). The login should be automatic if your iPad is logged in to iTunes, if not ,you will see the familiar iTunes loginbox in which you use your regular iTunes data. If the app asks you your credentials with a Time-loginbox, then there is still something wrong with the app. As you can see above, a lot of people have been experiencing problems, which they now seem to have resolved (my app is working OK again, no login data requiered).
Update: I just checked, and my app is not working again either! Back to square one. As we can see above, there is some time-app bug (or server problem or whatever). No use trying to solve it ourselves. I am sure they are aware of it and working on it, i guess we just have to be patient (again!).
