Wrong forum. Mac Pro = tower (this forum) and there is none.

No, The problem is I bought my Mac Pro:
Two 2.66GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon “Westmere” (12 cores)
16GB (8x2GB) 2TB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s hard drive 1TB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s hard drive ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB
with the Thunderbolt Display not the normal one, and i couldn't work with it, so I am asking if there is a way to make it work by an external cable or something ... i don't know!!!
If the Mac Pro you bought doesn't have a thunderbolt port then I doubt you can use that display with that MP.
You can,t use a thunderbolt display on your Mac pro. Only the appple LED cinema display will work with your new powerful computer. Apple ought to have let you know before making this purchase. My advice is to return the Thunderbolt display and exchange it for an apple cinema display or buy other brands like dell 27 inch.
Same Problem Here. I think apple could do something to resolve the issue. Like an adapter or something. Hope someone in Apple could help us.
Is this for real????
In the specific it says it just needs a thunderbolt port!!
Even if they can, they are not going to help you in a Macbook Pro forum. You may want to post over in Mac Pro.
