Q: IPod classic, not sync series 1-3 of Gavin & Stacey

HI

I have an iPod classic 160gb purchased in Dec 2011.  I had an iTunes voucher which was redeemed via my IPad, when I transferred it to the computer to sync to the Classic all I kept getting was an error message "not compatible with this device".  This has also happened when I redeemed a voucher to my IPhone 4.  Can anyone help?  I feel liked I have wasted the £40 that I have spent on downloads as the iPad & IPhone only have 16gb .  How can I get thus to sync or obtain an iTunes refund?

    Read this article related to your issue.  You may be trying to sync the High Definition (HD) version of the TV Show to your device.  The iPod classic does not support HD content. You'll want to download the SD version instead.

    iTunes: May be unable to transfer videos to iPhone, iPad, or iPod

     

    To prevent HD versions from being downloaded in the future head to the iTunes Store, click the Purchased link, and then select TV Shows and remove the tick mark next toDownload HD when available.  You should be able to download the SD version now from under this same page.
