My Pages document on the iCloud 'Can't be opened'

My Pages document on the iCloud 'Can't be opened' on my iPad or iPhone. When I try to download the file on my Macbook I get the message 'Document Can't Be Downloaded'. This means I have no access whatsoever to my document!

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Whilst it won't help you recover documents that have already become corrupt, can I suggest you get into the habit of backing up your documents in the cloud regularly.
