Q: iMac keyboard can't connect

Hi, just took my iMac out of the box and the keyboard and computer can't synch up. The indicator light on the keyboard blinks occasionally, but never connects. The mouse is fine. Batteries are not the issue either. Any ideas?

Thanks, but that didn't help. I called Apple support and they said the keyboard may be bad. Going to try to swap it tomorrow. Thanks again.
