It should open the side bar on the left-hand of the iTunes window. Ah, my mistake. Option+Command+S.

Press Ctrl+S (Win) or Option+Command+S (Mac) to enable the sidebar. Click the disclosure triangle next to the device in the sidebar to reveal the contents.

It still doesn't show the new playlist I have created on my phone.

Does it think I need to 'sync' before it can see it? That would kind of defeat the purpose.

😕 Hmm. You could try rebooting the iPhone, checking that you can still see the list on the device and then connecting it to iTunes to see if it shows up then.

I tried doing this, and it said, "Some of the songs in (playlistname) where not imported because they could not be found." Help.

The most obvious is to make sure you didn't delete or rename the song or the artist. Even a spelling fix in the title or author will void the inclusion int he playlist.

I'll see. I'm more than half way through now, I might just continue manually, it's quite satisfying pressing the delete button 😉

The traditional way to transfer playlist from iPhone to iTunes is just using iTunes, no doubt the fast way I think.
