How can I add French dictionary to Pages?
iPad, iOS 5.1.1, Add French Dictionary to Pages
If you are talking about OS X, you go to Inspector > Text > More > Language.
If you are talking about iOS/iPad, you switch to the French keyboard.

Thanks for your reply. I am using Pages on the new iPad. I tried to change the keyboard to French; unfortunately I was not able to access a French spell checker. Any other suggestions?
