how can i trace my stolen macbook air? im very sad.... :(

Report it stolen to the Police, if you haven't already. If your system was using OS X Lion and you are using iCloud, there are some features here to help you.

Did you register it with Find my Mac on iCloud? If so, you may be able to locate it when it connects to the Internet.

Go to www.icloud.com and log in using your Apple ID. Click on Find my IPhone.. If you registered the computer, it should be shown in a list and it's location will be shown on a map (assuming it is connected to the internet).

Find my iPhone rarely works if thieves are professional, such as the thieves and pickpockets that commonly operate in most Starbucks chains in Barcelona.

When I did call Apple, I was disappointed to note that they were singularly unhelpful in helping to report a stolen Macbook, even though they have the capability (and technology) to help. They kept repeating, brioken-record style, to report it to the police, though I had told them at the outset that this was already done.

They gave no useful suggestion, but I found this one on the web:

Also, I would suggest that you get in contact with pawn shops in your area to see if they have shown up there.
