Where and how can I get training for my new iMac?
I am away from computer so not sure of operating sys. It's that latest available.
I'm a windows and not acquainted with apple. I need training.

Your new iMac is running Lion v10.7. When you can, to see that information click the Apple menu icon top left corner of the screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac.
