need to restart.

We are having problems with our Mac, when we start it up and are using it, it runs ok ,but once it's left for a few minutes we come back to it and there is a message on the screen. The message is something like; the computer needs to shutdown and restart, press the power bottom till is shuts down then start it again.

Anybody else experiancing theses issues?

This warning is typically caused by a kernel panic.
