CAn i setup an original airport express without a base station from an ipad to be used as a wireless router?

    Take a look at the label on the side of the AirPort Express and look for the Model No.

     

    If you have A1084 or A1088, the iPad or IPhone will not configure this version of the AirPort Express.

     

    The iPad and iPhone will only configure the A1264 and A1392 version of the Express.
