Help installing Windows Vista via Parallels

I tried to install Parallels 7 and Windows Vista Ultimate on my Macbook Pro but it crashed and the harddrive had to be replaced by Apple. I am afraid to try to install Windows again lest it crash again. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.4)

All right, I'll post there. The thing is, installing Parallels was fine with no gliches. It was when I tried to install Windows that my laptop crashed.
