My aluminum keyboard will no longer pair with my iPad 3. The light on the keyboard flashes as it is supposed to but the iPad cannot find it. The keyboard has only been paired with my iPad and has new batteries. I tried to remove the saved pairing and connect again and it doesn't find it. Keyboard is less than a month old and the iPad is about 6 weeks old.

Is your keyboard paired to any other devices? You can only pair to one device at a time.

No. It is not paired to any other devices and never has been. It's the apple a1314 keyboard. Light comes on the keyboard and flashes but the iPad can't find it and it is right next to it

Try another keyboard or iPad from an friend and see if the same error occurs. Make clear where the error occurs. (Keyboard or iPad failure?).
