My new i pad will not recognize my monster 64GBSDXC photo card. It recognizes other cards. Any help

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, Mac OS X (10.6.3)

From http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4101 :
iPad SD Card Reader supports SD standards up to SDHC, miniSD and microSD with adapters, and MMC. SDXC is not supported.
