cannot find hotspot option in my new ipad???

cannot find hotspot option in my new ipad???

If I go to Settings>General>Network there are just VPN and Wi-Fi setting and no hotspot. Any idea how to get it ? I did Reset Network Settings but nothing happened. If I try to set APN Settings under Internet Tethering it doesn't save them - when I go out of settings menu and come back all the fields are empty. in my other mobiles i can use this function and the same simcard if i use in ipad 3 ...i cant find my hotspot to turn it on....can anybdy give me some solution for this????

- Do you have an iPod with the cellular radio?

- Have you subscribed with your carrier for the hotspot? The hotspot only appears if you have subscribed (paid extra money)

no i hav not subscribed for hotspot.but still it worked in my mobile phone...thn y not in ipad?

You were given the solution by lllaass above. You need an iPad hotspot plan from your provider/carrier. The iPad plan is not the same as the iPhone plan.

go to setting > cellular data > apn setting > copy cellular data apn to internet thethering apn, write the samething on both APN.then go to general > network > there your personal hotspot will be shown now.
