Just bought the new ipad and i notice that there's a red thin line across the screen while using it, what's wrong with my screen?

Just bought the new ipad wifi-4G and i notice that there's a red thin line across the screen horizontally, is this normal or my lcd is defective? Hope you can help me with this. Thank's

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 5.1.1

Not normal. Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.

the thin red (or other color) line isn't on your iPad...it's in the screen protector. Peel it back a ways and you'll see the line actually burned into the screen protector, but not the screen of the iPad!
