Q: I plugged my ipod into my dock and the screen went black. With a charged battery it still woulnt turn back on. It got very overheated! HELP!

Have you tried Restoring your ipod. It will reset all settings. You can do this in your itunes application when you plug it in. Click your ipod icon and press restore. It will delete all the songs on your ipod but not in your itunes library, just sync everything afterwards and you should be good. If that doesn't work I would take it in to where you bought it, if your ipod is under warranty they will help.

Sorry Im fresh out of ideas other than seeking help from say a bestbuy store or something along those lines of course that might cost you something but it might be worth it. You might end up just having to buy a new one unfortunately.  sorry again, hope you find a solution.
