I'm just wondering if the 5ghz automatically runs itself for capable devices or not, or do i have to manually turn on the 5Ghz wifi? It's because it looks so sloppy seeing all three wifi connection of mine, showing the regular one, guest one, and 5ghz one

Just as my Subject says, I kinda don't grasp the whole 2.4ghz and 5ghz "simultaneously" input on the box and on the website.

And, i'm just wondering if the 5ghz wifi connection would be shown to others too or not. Thank you.

Basically "simultaneously" means that the AirPort is broadcasting two separate wireless networks; one in the 2.4 GHz band and the other in the 5 GHz band. 802.11a clients will only connect to the 5 GHz band; 802.11b/g clients will only connect to the 2.4 GHz band, and 802.11n clients can connect to either.

so your saying i wouldnt need to manually make another wifi connection for the 5ghz? I could just use my main one? Sorry if im confusing you.

If your wireless client is capable of connecting to both 2.4 & 5 GHz bands, it will automatically choose the one that will provide it with the best bandwidth performance. There is no need for you to select which band, just which network. By default, the AirPorts use the same Network Name for both bands.
