This has worked well for me. Full use for 10 minutes per session if you want to trial.

I think your issue is that your wireless network is not robust enough. You can try Airserver too ( below) but you will have the same issues unless you have a rock solid wifi connection. I use 802.11n, with an access point in the room, with 55- to 200 or so mbps connection. If your access point is distant and lots of others are not you will be disappointed.

  • Beam your iPad or iPhone screen to HDMI or VGA projector, smartboard or HDTV via a Mac or PC
  • True full screen display
  • Picture enhancement settings
  • Secure password protection
  • Collaborate with students using simultaneous connections

Xcode has this feature. Just run the app. The run button is the play button in the top left hand corner of xCode. Another option, which would take much more effort, is to create a demo app similar to a clickable pdf. This site offers it for free: http://www.appdemostore.com/

Xcode is the best way.

I am still searching for another way, because I want to send a link to friends and family and give them the ability to toy around with the app from their computer (as not all have iPhones). Maybe we should build the site ourselves?? heh.
