Jul 3, 2012 9:28 AM in response to Charlys0205by BobTheFisherman,If you are in the USofA and you have a Verizon contract the Verizon iPad connects without a sim card. CDMA is built-in to the Verizon iPad. If you want to connect to a GSM provider then you use the provider's GSM micro sim card in the iPad.

Jul 3, 2012 9:46 AM in response to BobTheFishermanby Dah•veed,Disclaimer - For me the Apple Support Communities are an international user to user technical support forum. As a man from Mexico my first language is Spanish. I do not speak English, however I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture very different from that found in most 1st world nations, such as that in the two dominant North American countries. Written language has no tone. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.
It is confusing, but others here have stated that the new Verizon iPad does have a Verizon LTE SIM card.

Jul 3, 2012 11:53 AM in response to Charlys0205by Dah•veed,It is my understanding that the only CDMA provider you may use with this Verizon iPad is Verizon. However, you may use any GSM service provider that you choose.
When folks who own this Verizon iPad in the US installed an AT&T SIM in the iPad, they were able to use it on AT&T.

Jul 4, 2012 5:40 AM in response to Charlys0205by IdrisSeabright,If it is a Verizon iPad, it will only work on Verizon's CDMA network. You would have to use it on a GSM network otherwise.

Jul 4, 2012 7:27 AM in response to Charlys0205by Dah•veed,That just it, it is a LTE SIM card, not a CDMA SIM card. LTE is GSM technology, even when deployed by a CDMA carrier. The instructions are for any new iPad with a SIM card.

Yes, any iPad is unlocked unlike iPhone.
the new ipad 3,3 version is capable for any operator CDMA with inject and any operator GSM with simcard inserted.
In Indonesia i think you should get EVDO Rev A. 3.1 Mbps (Esia) or Rev B 13 Mbps (Smartfren) or less Flexi.
Please google "jasa inject ipad"
