Got a new iphone and bluetooth is not working. Allows me to turn on but stuck in permanent 'searching' mode?

You must pair all of your devices to the new phone. Some devices can only pair with one phone; for those you will have to reset the device before pairing. Consult the manual or web site for the device.

It will always be searching if you are ion the bluetooth screen, always has.
