Q: Will Airport Express work with no hardwired connection?

I was thinking about getting an Airport Express but I would probably need to use it in a room without the router being close by. Am I correct in thinking it will autoamtically pick up my WiFi signal and work fine with any direct connection with the router?

If the other router that is providing the wireless network is another Apple base station, then yes, the AirPort Express Base Station (AX) can extend its wireless range ... and wireless clients, connected to either base station, will gain network/Internet access.

Thanks for coming back to me! So basically if i was to buy 2 airport expresses. Plug one directly into modem and have the other one wireless, I should be fine?
