I am trying to use a blue tooth device (LG HBS700) to connect to my Mac Book Pro. It will see it, and it's on the device list, but it's not connected.
How do I get it connected?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
You have to go through the pairing process. To do this select the menu item "Bluetooth > Set up Bluetooth device..":
This doesn't appear to be sufficient. The system returns a message the the device does have the necessary services. Perhaps a missing driver? Some earlier posts mention something about deleting a file a "com.apple.bluetooth... or similar but I have not found such a file.
Any suggestions?

I was finally able to connect the LG HBS700 with the following steps.
It was originally connected to my Iphone 5s, so I had to unselect it from my phone.
This freed it up for the Macbook to see and connect to the LG bluetooth device.
