Not directly.
You need an -> AppleTV.
"AirPlay.
Play content from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch on your HDTV.2Watch movies, play music, show off your videos and photos — even show what's on your screen to enjoy games, web pages, and more.3"
Are you planning to play back videos from inside the stock Videos app, or a third-party one? If the latter is the case and they aren't MOV / MP4 / M4V files, AirPlay won't be of much use and you'll need to use a cabled (HDMI or VGA) connection.

Unless the third party app supports AirPlay (many, many do).
Direct AirPlay (unlike wired composite / component / VGA / HDMI feeding) support won't be of help when playing back non-iOS-native formats; that is, not the above-listed MOV / MP4 / M4V files. Then, AirPlay-based wireless playback will be practically useless because of the stuttering playback.
This is what I've referred to.
