Before i can transfer all my Photos and videos from iphone to pc but when i updated my itunes to version 10 no autoplay popped up window and my pc doesnt detect the portable device/iphone anymore. But it can still be detected through itunes. Is there any setting i should change or i shouldve not updated my pc itunes?.. pls help appreciate your big help. Thanks.😢

If you can see your phone in My Computer then you should be able to turn on autoplay. See "On Windows XP" in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1500, except on step 7 choose "Start this program" in the Action area and in the drop-down list to the right of this select "Scanner and Camera Wizard".
no i cannot see my iphone on the my computer. but i can access my iphone on itunes. before i can transfer but when i updated the itunes the problem started
also when i connect my iphone to the laptop it was just charging its battery.. no sign that it is detected unless i open the itunes there i can use it and access the phone.

Sounds like a problem with the Apple Mobile Device USB driver. See item #4 at the bottom of this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538.
A workaround until you can get this resolved would be to use an app like PhotoSync, which will wirelessly transfer your photos and videos to your computer.
Hi ive done article #4 but tried not to do some of it and its ok..
This part here: i scan for new update and then on my mist there is the Apple Digital Still Camera (not on below list) i chose that and then when i clicked OK. Its done.. Thank you so much.. 🙂 Big help.

Transfer Photos from iPhone to PC:
On a Windows PC the easiest way to get pictures from your iPhone is to just use Windows Explorer, but there’s two ways to go about this:
Plugin your iPhone to the computer without iTunes running
Wait for a popup asking you what you want to do with the device
Select “View Content”
Find your photos through the folders that are displayed
Copy in Windows as usual
If your iPhone is already plugged into your PC, you can try this method:
Plugin your iPhone to your PC
Open “My Computer”
Find your iPhone, it will appear as any other camera would
Open iPhone to find your Photos
Select the pictures you want to copy to your computer and copy/paste them into the desired location on your PC
