Update that gets a FM radio for iPhone!
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1
Well, no update on an existing phone can do that. It's a hardware issue.
I believe that Griffin make a FM radio that plugs into the iPhone and can be controlled through an app. But the latest reviews are not positive.
Be aware that FM reception on a phone can be very hit and miss......
I agree 100%
Not trying to be an @55 but I must say that your reply shows exactly the opposite of what you're preaching. You definately did not read Anchi1 post properly. As far as I can tell you seem ****** at the fact that some would actually like to get that feature enabled in iPhones. Which honestly I don't understand. Is this being a fan off Apple what it is all about? You fight so vigorously and defend Apple with so much passion (even though Apple definately don't need your help) that it leaves me speechless.
Defend? No. far from it. I hate repeating myself. This is a SUPPORT forum. Go over to CNet or someplace if you wish to argue about the company and/or their products. The "problem" has been answered over and over and over again. You don't like the answer, so you keep arguing about WHY they HAVE to have a feature in a support forum, which does absolutely nothing. This has nothing to do with defending anyone or thing. A problem was posted, answers, options and workarounds have been given and yet trolls will be trolls.
And since you are unable or unwilling to read the previous posts (including your own), here they are once again. Your otions are:
Beyond that...Please explain what other answer you would expect that would make this go away.
Quite hard to argue with the logic of this. Apple doesn't have to put a FM Radio into the iPhone, any more than you have to buy one. If that hurts Apple business-wise, then they'll take the hit and you'll be right. But that still doesn't mean they have to do it.

"I was talking about a FM radio I'm using now, on Android phone."
Since Android is an OS that runs on a phone, and in this case phones from multiple hardware makers, which make/model smartphone do you use that has FM? And if you are using one and it works for you why are you wanting to switch?
Also, how much extra would you be willing to pay for an iPhone that had FM radio?
If you hate repeating yourself then simply stop !?
It bothers you that the topic doesn't want to go away then simply ignore it !?
Really it's that simple.
He's subscribed to it.

It's very easy to unsubscribe. so I assume he wants to be here. Me, I just follow it for my daily laugh.
Too bad the naysayers need to rage over this, it's quite funny. I'm glad I subscribed to this thread.
It was an indirect homage to the movie M.A.S.H. And I agree.
So...you can't answer my questions, or provide any value, but I should go away? You have been a part of 5 posts, all relating to the same topic, some of them you started yourself. You know the answers, you know the options, you know it's not going to happen. Yet you continue to visit the same topics because you would rather argue. That would be a troll.
Yes, unsubscribing is easy. And since this goof just wants to argue a moot point, I no longer have any interest in this topic.
LOL!!!!! You sir have made my day!!! LOL!
The LOL is that we all know that you actually don't listen to FM, don't have any smartphone with FM, and don't give a flying **** what Apple does about anything. That's not why you're here.
Your reply to me is so incorrect that I'm actually wondering if your reply is actually meant for me.
And some people are calling me a troll... LOL!
