Well, no update on an existing phone can do that. It's a hardware issue.

I believe that Griffin make a FM radio that plugs into the iPhone and can be controlled through an app. But the latest reviews are not positive.

Be aware that FM reception on a phone can be very hit and miss......

Not trying to be an @55 but I must say that your reply shows exactly the opposite of what you're preaching. You definately did not read Anchi1 post properly. As far as I can tell you seem ****** at the fact that some would actually like to get that feature enabled in iPhones. Which honestly I don't understand. Is this being a fan off Apple what it is all about? You fight so vigorously and defend Apple with so much passion (even though Apple definately don't need your help) that it leaves me speechless.

Defend? No. far from it. I hate repeating myself. This is a SUPPORT forum. Go over to CNet or someplace if you wish to argue about the company and/or their products. The "problem" has been answered over and over and over again. You don't like the answer, so you keep arguing about WHY they HAVE to have a feature in a support forum, which does absolutely nothing. This has nothing to do with defending anyone or thing. A problem was posted, answers, options and workarounds have been given and yet trolls will be trolls.

And since you are unable or unwilling to read the previous posts (including your own), here they are once again. Your otions are:

  1. Buy a phone that has the features you require (Duh)
  2. Buy a small, portable FM radio. Perhaps an extra one for the office.
  3. Griffin Navigator or some other device that does something similar
  4. http://www.apple.com/feedback to let them know of the features you would like included

Beyond that...Please explain what other answer you would expect that would make this go away.

Since Android is an OS that runs on a phone, and in this case phones from multiple hardware makers, which make/model smartphone do you use that has FM? And if you are using one and it works for you why are you wanting to switch?

Also, how much extra would you be willing to pay for an iPhone that had FM radio?

So...you can't answer my questions, or provide any value, but I should go away? You have been a part of 5 posts, all relating to the same topic, some of them you started yourself. You know the answers, you know the options, you know it's not going to happen. Yet you continue to visit the same topics because you would rather argue. That would be a troll.
