buzzing sound

After a few hours of the having the thunderbolt display connected to power, it starts making a buzzing sound and have to unplug for a long period and plug back again for it to stop. It only stops for a few hours and than the buzzing sound comes back. Any solutions? seems like a common problem from other posts I saw online.
