If I own a mac machine, and using bottcamp I partition the hard disk and install a windows on the other partition, is it possible to use remote desktop client for mac to connect from the mac machine to the windows machine ( while they both reside on the mac machine physically )?

Of course not. Only one of them is running at a time.
You can purchase software like Parallels Desktop to do this. Parallels can run your Windows bootcamp image in a virtual machine under OS X.
