I have an iPhone 4, had it since it first came out...
Today, out of the blue, it stops being "vocal" with ringtones, alert tones, and now playing music. However, if I put headphones in while the music is playing I can hear it...
I live in a pretty humid place... not sure if that could be effecting it.
I have tried rebooting, and restarting... What else can I do? I need my phone for work... Any ideas?
Be sure the mute switch isn't on on the side of the phone. Assuming it isn't you may have debris in the headset jack at the top of the phone blocking the sensor. Try blowing it out with compressed air and inserting/removing your headphones multiple times to clear it.
even i am facing the same problem, the volume keys stop working suddenly , there is no volume bar in the music player.. n then suddenly it starts working.. mine keeps happening randomly . even urs ? or urs has become permanent ?
