I am having the same problem but different.

Normally like Randers9 said there would be an exclamation mark beside the song. I would click it and then go find the song on my drive. It would link it and no issue.

Now with the new iTunes it sees the song on my iPhone but doesn't let me do that same search to find the original source.

Do you guys know how to fix this?

Thank you,

This indicates that iTunes can't find the song you are trying to sync to your phone on your computer. You will also probably see an excalimation point next to the song in your library. If you double-click on the song you will get a warning that iTunes can't locate the song and prompt you to locate it manually.

To see the full list of problem files, connect your phone to iTunes, right-click on the name of your phone on the left sidebar, select Reset Warnings, then sync again.
