iPhone won't import pictures to Image Capture

Hi Everyone!

I'm having an issue - everytime I connect my iPhone to iMac I want to transfer the pictures to Image Capture and it always keeps giving me the same error message no matter what pictures I select to import.

It always says the following:

"An error occured while importing. 24 items were not imported:

IMG_1329.JPG

IMG_1330.JPG

IMG_1331.JPG

IMG_1332.JPG

IMG_1333.JPG..."

Please help!

Thanks!

Did you try to delete the photo cache?

iTunes: Understanding the iPod Photo Cache folder

Can you import them using iPhoto?

Did you already reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?

I have had the same problem all of a sudden, therefore I am replying to this thread. Strange thing was that imports from my iPad worked fine. I tried many solutions like restarting Image Capture, restarting my computer, changing the cable, deleting the contents of the DCIM folder on my iPhone. Nothing worked. What worked for me was:

1. Change the "Import to:" from "Pictures" to "Desktop" (a menu located in the center bottom window in image Capture v. 6.01.)

2. Change the "Import to:" back to "Pictures"

3. Import

Maybe this will help someone.
